About CC Statusline by chongdashu
CC Statusline provides an initialization command that helps select display features and install the shell renderer. It supports repository and model information alongside optional richer usage reporting. The project uses additional tools for some fields, so the visible result depends on which dependencies and data are available in the environment.

How to install
Open the source documentation to check prerequisites and installation scope. Copy the commands below and run them one line at a time. Replace any example paths with the directory you intend to use.
Terminal
npx @chongdashu/cc-statusline@latest initComplete any authentication or settings steps documented by the maintainer, then reload the session and confirm the capability is available. Entries in the same repository may share a parent plugin installation.
Getting started
Use Node.js 16 or newer for the installer. Follow its project or global setup choice; install jq for advanced fields and Git for branch display. Review the generated settings before restarting Claude Code.
Before you use it
Review the project instructions and requested tool access, then try a small task. This directory checks sources and setup notes; inclusion is not a code security audit.
