About Claude Statusline by Ilia
This status line reads the session JSON supplied by Claude Code and adds local Git context. It uses Node.js built-in modules rather than an additional npm dependency tree. The plugin stages the script and provides a separate setup command that previews the settings change before updating the user configuration.

How to install
Open the source documentation to check prerequisites and installation scope. Copy the commands below and run them one line at a time. Replace any example paths with the directory you intend to use.

Getting started
Ensure a modern Node.js runtime is available, with Git for repository fields. Run /statusline-for-claude-code:setup after installation and confirm the proposed setting. The plugin does not activate the display merely by being installed.

Review the project instructions and requested tool access, then try a small task. This directory checks sources and setup notes; inclusion is not a code security audit.
