Flag attempts to remove or disable tests while Claude Code edits a project.
Protect Tests checks Bash and file-edit requests for test deletion, disabled filenames and newly introduced skip markers. Its configured level determines which patterns are blocked. The intent is to keep an apparent passing suite from hiding removed coverage, while still allowing ordinary test-body edits and new tests.
Open the source documentation to check prerequisites and installation scope. Copy the commands below and run them one line at a time. Replace any example paths with the directory you intend to use.

claude plugin marketplace add karanb192/claude-code-hooks
claude plugin install protect-tests@claude-code-hooksComplete any authentication or settings steps documented by the maintainer, then reload the session and confirm the capability is available. Entries in the same repository may share a parent plugin installation.
Check the supported test-file naming patterns for your framework. Try a small fixture with a valid edit and a skipped-test edit to understand the selected level. This package uses Node.js command hooks; restart Claude Code after installation.
Review the project instructions and requested tool access, then try a small task. This directory checks sources and setup notes; inclusion is not a code security audit.
