Build a configurable Rust status line with native session modules and optional Starship segments.
CShip renders Claude session data through configurable modules for model, context and cost. It can also incorporate Starship modules such as directory or Git information when Starship is installed. TOML configuration controls the arrangement and thresholds, making it useful for a display that matches an existing terminal prompt.
Open the source documentation to check prerequisites and installation scope. Copy the commands below and run them one line at a time. Replace any example paths with the directory you intend to use.
Terminal
cargo install cshipComplete any authentication or settings steps documented by the maintainer, then reload the session and confirm the capability is available. Entries in the same repository may share a parent plugin installation.
The shown install command requires Rust and Cargo. Then set statusLine to {"type":"command","command":"cship"}. Configure ~/.config/cship.toml; Starship is only required for its passthrough modules.
Review the project instructions and requested tool access, then try a small task. This directory checks sources and setup notes; inclusion is not a code security audit.
