Display model and context information in a configurable status line.
statuslineCommunity project8 repo starsRepo updated Sep 11, 2026
Display session context, active components and optional detail rows with a Python status line.
Yet Another Statusline, or YAS, combines session indicators with information about plugins, skills and other active work. Themes, conditional rows and width handling help adapt the display to different terminals. The setup also installs a prompt timestamp hook used for turn-scoped subagent information; it is more than a cosmetic settings change.
Open the source documentation to check prerequisites and installation scope. Copy the commands below and run them one line at a time. Replace any example paths with the directory you intend to use.
Terminal
claude plugin marketplace add tmck-code/yet-another-statusline
claude plugin install yas@yet-another-statuslineComplete any authentication or settings steps documented by the maintainer, then reload the session and confirm the capability is available. Entries in the same repository may share a parent plugin installation.
Prepare Python 3.10 or newer. After installing the plugin, run /yas:init inside Claude Code. Review the statusLine and prompt-hook changes; use /yas:uninstall before removing the plugin to clean up its settings.
Review the project instructions and requested tool access, then try a small task. This directory checks sources and setup notes; inclusion is not a code security audit.
